Enough with the words, here's a video walkthrough of the Art of Tomb Raider, 2 volume set. The Pre-order price only lasts until the end of March, then they will return to $125US plus S&H.
Progress Update: Books will be arriving and going through customs here in the United States sometime between March 26 and April 3. Once we get the shipment, each book will be individually inspected for any defects, printing errors or otherwise. Once each book passes this quality test, we will then begin shipping.

As much as I love Lara but 110$ and 60$ shipping is insane. Print 10.000 or whatever and make a realistic price. 60$ shipping? No way! That is a rip off
Pricey shipping? Maybe. But after dropping over $100 on a 500+ page book of high quality plates, I sure would be sad if it arrived all scraped up from cheap shipping.
The thing wieghs a ton.
I estimate buyers' remorse over this book to be at or near zero ;)
Nothing against the quality but it`s still a high price and that just because of a low printing. Tomb Raider selled in the millions and then just 2.000 is bad. I could accept the 110$, no problem but if I need to pay 60$ too is way to much. 20$ okay but 60? I am not a millionaire.
my shipping cost was 12$. where do you get $60 from? are you overseas? if so, $60 to ship something that weighs 12 pounds in a protected manner is not unreasonable.
$60 is cheep for overseas, infact its nothing if you think about it, i dont want my 500USD worth of book to be damaged in post for the sake of $60

Lara Croft Guardian of Light will be coming out in July/August. I have read that within a year another 'normal' game with Tomb Raider in the title will also be produced.
After looking at the isometric version I can only hope this rumor to be true. GoL may in fact turn out to be an interesting experiment, but I can't imagine Square Enix to believe they can maintain the fan base with such a deviation.
Do we get a notice when our books are shipped or just the general message saying we can expect them any day after April 4th?
Apparantly there has been a delay at customs, and the books will not be available to inspect and ship until the end of May.

Amazing quality book and well worth the money considering game art books of 50-100 pages go for about $30-$50 and do not have nearly the amount of artwork this compilation has. Thank you for creating this book and having a limited run, because honestly printing a large amount of these books and knowing that most gamers are cheap would have put your business in the hole.

I just got my book and have only just scanned it quickly. Gentlemen, you've done a gorgeous job, I'm so excited to sit down with it and read through it completely. It was so worth the wait.
If you haven't gotten yours yet, I can't wait for you to see it. You're going to love it! If you're still riding the fence on the purchase, get down and buy it already, you won't regret it.
And all those that have complained with impatience, I hope you're adequately abashed when your copy arrives.

And yes, please, do the THE DARK TOWER next. I've been begging for a book with all the covers from the various editions (and there are a LOT of them when you consider the various international paperbacks).

other than that,,,,,the book is magnificence ,unique and great piece
